DR KRIS BASCOMB
Returning to high school at 32, with three young children and husband in tow, to Adelaide they ventured as Dr Kris pursued her life long dream of becoming a Rural GP! In 10 “short” years Dr Bascomb not only completed her medical degree, but also trained in Obstetrics and anaesthetics as well, finalising her specialist training whilst her youngest son completed high school. Not without it’s challenges, Dr Bascomb founded Boston Bay family health practice in 2009 with the help of her family.
Being a solo GP for 3 years, it didnt take long for Kris to become extremely popular, in as little as two weeks she was booked for double that.
Dr Kris’s love and passion for obstetrics is beyond recognition. She has delivered over 1000 babies since 2009 & assisted with anesthetics for many more! She is a highly sought after, respected & soundly skilled female GP. We couldn't be luckier to have Dr Bascomb leading our supervision of registrar training placements, and imparting her passion for rural general practice on the future generation of GPs.
When Kris isnt delivering babies or catching up on sleep, you’ll find her enjoying her grand children, Duke(4), Jax(2), Bonnie(2), Katalina(1) & Brody (6m), developing her Skin care range for babies alchemellia or enjoying a rare weekend away to enjoy a theatre production or concert! Most recently she enjoyed Neil Finn at a day on the Green, with her husband of 34 years, & managed to catch the “rocky horror picture show” not once, but 4 times in adelaide!
DR JANSSEN ANG
Dr Janssen Ang joined the Boston Bay team in March 2015 & has quickly become an integral and highly respected pillar in the medical community of Port Lincoln.
Dr Janssen hailed from Berri where he completed his registrar training. His skills in anaesthesia allows him to break up his consulting week with a couple of theatre lists at the hospital.
Dr Janssen has a beautiful wife, Sharon, along with two stunning daughters, Abigail (4) and Alyssa(2), and a handsome little boy, Asher.
Their weekends are usually spent enjoying life with their family and being involved in the local church (One Heart) where Janssen is frequently allowed to unleash on the drum set!
We love having Janssen as part of the Boston Bay Family, nearly as much as he loves KFC!
DR NNADOZIE AWUJO
Dr Nnadozie Awujo joined our Boston Bay Family in July 2020. Dr Nnadozie completed his GP Training in Ceduna prior to working at Boston Bay and we are thrilled he and his family chose Lincoln to work and reside.
Dr Nnadozie joins us with his Beautiful Wife, and an adorable daughter who is just shy of two years old.
Dr Nnadozie has skills in emergency medicine, skin cancer, mental health and more. He also has Anaesthetics training, and participates in the town anaesthetics on call and theatre roster allowing him to enjoy a broad range of consulting and practicing throughout the week.
When not working, which isn’t often, you will find Nnadozie spending valuable time with his family, perfecting the moves of Martial Arts, or telling a joke or two!
